The joys of a Pony Share at HB&L RDA - from Lia

We are so pleased our pony shares are a successful part of what we do at HB&L RDA. Most important was that, through our sharer programme, all our ponies get to have a diverse and varied set of activities, in compliment to their RDA work. With their sharers they get to hack out in the beautiful countryside around Badgers Farm, attend our quarterly gymkhana / dress up days, go to local shows, attend our Sponsored Ride events and some of them are mascots when we are 'out and about' talking to the local community about the work we do. This helps them remain content and happy in their work, and ensures that they are mentally stimulated because of the variety in their activities.

In addition to the welfare benefits for the ponies, our Sharer Programme is a vital fundraising pillar for the charity too.
