Didn't we have a lovely time, the day we went to the Shere Hill Climb?

Yes, we did - it was epic! For those of you who prefer your horse power to come from a motor engine with 4 tyres, then this is the event for you. A pony gymkhana is was not!

Once again, we were delighted that the wonderful people at the Shere Hill Climb invited us to run a charity stall at their event. You know us at HB&L RDA, we have some seriously good bakers as part of our army of volunteers (we're still recruiting - there's still time to join in ahead of the new term). So we fielded our HB&L RDA Cake Stall at the Hill Climb. Our stall was teeming in the most delicious pastries, slabs of trays bakes, succulent sponges and scrummy scones. Did we mention cookies and cupcakes - we had stacks of those too.
Thank you to all the kind people who whipped, baked, kneaded and rubbed to create this smorgasbord of delicious goodies.
We are excited to report that we made over £290 - which given we operated with a 'pound-land mentally' meant we sold nearly 300 cakes to the hungry attendees at the event. Hurrah! Does looking at MG Midgets, Porches, Aston Martins and Morgans make you hungry - it would seem so. Perhaps too much dribbling going on....
If you didn't make it in 2025 - then you need to get your act together and go next year (and please go hungry so we can sell you some cakes and snacks).
Here's a video of our amazing day to whet your appetite (see what we did there!).
