A huge thank you to the brilliant people at NFU for their wonderful contribution to HB&L RDA

We are very grateful to everyone at NFU Cobham who chose us as their charity to support this year from their 'Giving Fund'. We (well actually Hector) have received a whopping cheque for nearly £8,000 (£7,899) which will fund our professional coaches to run our sessions for the next 9 months.

Without our brilliant coaches we cannot deliver over 106 rides every week across 23 riding sessions. It's a lot and we are so grateful to Barry, Sheri, Hannah, Murphy, Louise, Gill, Angie for the brilliant, inventive and stimulating sessions that they run each week.

It was great to show Emily and Shekinah from NFU Mutual Cobham around our amazing facility - meeting some of our RDA ponies, including Hector who muscled his way into the photography session! They were introduced to the awesome Friday group of volunteers who run 4 sessions every week for two of our local schools.

It was a privilege to hear from one of our parents who was there about the very positive impact that RDA has made to their daughter - who has been riding with us for the past year. She has grown in confidence, said her mother, and just loves being around the ponies.

It's wonderful to hear about the contribution and difference that ponies make to our riders - and that's why we do it. Thanks to NFU Mutual Cobham we now have secure funding for coaches for the next academic year which is a huge boon for the fundraising team.
