On Friday 11 October, the charity held its annual race night at Manor House School, the evening was a huge success with great fun had by all.
For the first time ever, the event had a headline sponsor, our friends at Mowtivated kindly supported the event, covering all our costs so 100% of the ticket price, bar profits, raffle, horse ownership and race sponsorship went directly to the charity, so a massive thanks to Tristan and his team.
Guests enjoyed a meal from Good Elf in Stoke D'Abernon and entertainment of eight video races throughout the evening. Generosity was high, and we are delighted to say the funds raised from the event total £5,257.90! This is a huge amount for our charity, covering 12.6% of our annual running costs, in just one evening!
As with all our events, a great team of people come together to plan the evening, sell the tickets, organise the logistics and seek raffle prizes and sponsors, this team is led by Trustee Ruth, so bug thanks to her and her band of volunteers who helped on the evening.
